thing takes time; It is the only thing

Smoking goes on eveiy where. There

Pullman Sleeping Cars.
I referred In a recent, letter to tho
curiuus custom of naming the Cami
llas or saloons. Ueru it Is not confined
to tho cantlna; all the shops havo their
own distinctive title. There Is one
hiihor dasher shop, called "The Uen tie
man," a Jewelry store "La Vlobtta"
and many others too numerous to
mention.
There is no such tiling as tho hotel
bus. There seems but littlo competi
tion. Indeed in the wuy of hotel
warfare, and they are wonderfully In
dependent. If you are not satisfied,
you are politely bidden adlos, but
there Is no trying to make you more
coiufortahle.
