Circuit court Depurtmeut No 1, was
convened yesterday afternoon for the
purpose of trying the contest case of J

ty, but on account of the absence of
ex-County Clerk Montague, who was
at Lower Soda, and Deputy l letk K

was adjourned until 1 o'clock this af
ternoon, when the case was called.

Somersaud Kelley appealed for tlie
plaintiff and Attorneys Weatherl'ord
