How to Prevent Croup.
Some reading that will prove Inter
esting to young mothers. How to
guard against the disease.
Croup la a terror to young mothers
and to post them concerning the
cause, first symptoms and treatment
is the object of this Item. The origin
of croup is a common cold. Children
who ure subject to It take cold very
easily and oroup is almost sure to fol
low. The first symptom is hoarse
ness; this is soon followed by a peculiar
rough cough, which is easily re
cognized and will never be forgotten
by anyone who has heard It. The
time to act is when the child fiist
becomes hoarse. If Chamberlain's
Cough Remedy Is freely given all ten
dency to croup will soon disappear,
even after the croupy cough has de
veloped it will prevent the attack.
There is no danger in giving this
remedy lor It contains nothing injur
ious. For tale by Osburn A DeLano,
