Forty five miners were i tombed last night by a cuve-in at the Bellevue colliery, locat ed a short distance from Frank, Alberta. Eighteen of those entombed were rescued alive, and twenty bodies of the victims have been recovered. The work of rescue is pro gressing, but it 1» slow, us there is much debris to be re moved, and it will probably be several days before the 3n tombed men are reached. A special train was made up here and carried physicians and nurses, also oxygen appa ratus used in rescue work, to scene.
