dent J. D. Powers. Bishop Olmsted
delivered the Invocation and Gov­
ernor Butchel and Mayor Speer made

The Initial session, foltowing . the
welcomes and responses, was given
over wholly to th«> report* of the
officers ami standing committees of
the association. Included among the
report* were those of Secretary F. E.
Farnsworth and Treasurer
A. A.
Crane.
Several other committee report*
were presented when the convention
reassembled after luncheon and the
association then took up the pro­
gram of addresses and discussions
« n practical banking questions. The
two Important addresses of the day
were presented by B E. Walker,
president of the Canadian Bank of
Commerce, and Dr Woodrow Wil­
son, president of Princeton Univer­
sity. The address of Mr. Walker
dealt with the "Abnormal Features
of American Banking "
