TEACHERS IN SESSION ' ugene Tribe of Indians When sickness cotnes, as unfortu nately it dues, it may be made easier for the one who cures for the patient if the following is observed in making the bed: Three sheets should be In use at a time—the upper, the lower and the draw, which is placed directly under the patient. Blankets of good quality make the best covering, with u light weight counterpane at the top. There should be two large pillows and as many small pillows as the exi- l gencies of the case require. If a rubber sheet is necessary, spread it smoothly on the mattress. Put on the lower sheet and pin it into place on the un derside of the mattress, so that the pa tient may not work it up into wrinkles. Fold the draw sheet and pin It across the middle of the bed so that It will extend from the patient’s shoulders to well below the hips. Put on the up per sheet, leaving it a little loose for tlie feet and long enough to turn over the blanket at the top. The blankets need not be so long as the sheet, but should be long enough to tuck around the patient’s neck. The counterpane may lie of the same long T ;:s the sheet ami left long enough t > fold over. , Iu changing the bed roll the pat'ent to one side, putting one hand again t .lie shoulder and tlie other against the iilp.
