It is pretty generally understood that
we are able to strike descriptions more
fairly, if not s« vividly, at the dietanee
of a tow days than during the incident
excitement. This being trne, We have
certainly selected a favorable time (or
giving a synopsis of the closing oxer*
cises of Christian College "for this
session, together with its exhibitions
and attendant festivities. Of oonrse it
will ho impossible to enter into the
minutiae, but first wo will mention the

On Saturday evening, June. 10th, tho
Neophisnk gavp .their entertainment.
The “ little boys” did admirably and
amply proved that they are capable -of
acting in the capacity of a literary
^society with great profit to themseljhs.
We think’ that each returning year
shows a. decided improvement in the
Neophytes.

plause, after which the Alumni ad-
jourued to the hoiiso of Mrs. R." Gard,
wliere a sumptuous supper was spread
for their enjoyment. .Thus joyously
ended an annual rennion of the
Associate Alumni of Christian College,
which will be long remembered.
