G. A. Patterson met with a painful
accident Tuesday when he fell from a
telephone pole. He was employed by
the Bell telephone system and it is
presumed that a cross beam fell on him
badly crushing his left hand. He came
to Independence, his home, and the
injured hand was dressed. The acci
dent occurred at Monmouth.
