tice Wilson's court yesterday. Oli

plaining witness. The charge was
carrying a concealed weapon and
the jury returned a verdict of guil
ty. District-Attorney Hart was
present and represented the prose
cution and N. L. Butler the de
fendant. The jury was composed
ofG. W. Whiteaker, A. L. Sper
ling. S. B. Irvine, D. B. Taylor, S.
B. Walker, and Samuel DeCamp.
The fine will be fixed by the jus
tice. Social Whist Game.
Because of conflict with other
events, the Social Whiet Club held
its weekly meeting on Wednesday
night of this week instead of Friday
the usual evening. The members
were pleasantly entertained at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. George:
Kutsch. The prize winners were;
Mrs. L. Damon and Mr. George
Kutsch while Dr. O. D. Butler and
Mrs. Kutsch captured the booby i
prize. Refreshments were served
