The Maccabees' New Year's ball was
a splendidly attended function, and wa
thoroughly enjoyed by those prt sent.
The McMinnviile orchestra furnish
ed the music, and many compliments
are heard for the splendid article of
music furnished. At midnight the
ball was turned Into a leap year ball
lady's choice. Dancing broke up at
2:00 A. M. The ladles of the Macca
bees served supper. A neat sum was
cleared over expenses.
