This is to be the eyent of its kind during the winter. The orchestra has giyen way to the boys, and will furnish mush for the occasion. All funds, over expenses, realized from the dance are to be utilized in securing proper uniforms for the fire com- A pleasant feature of Hallowe'en's evening was the organization of a young ladies club, and in the absence of a better name let's call it the "Independence Order of Holy Rollers." Tbe young ladies assem bled at the home of Miss Mary Clodfelter, where an organization was perfected. Later they celebrated the "topsy turvey" evening by serenading various houses. Returning to Miss Chjd- felter's home, they were entertained at luncheon, and passed a few moments longer as the guests of this clever young lady. Percival shipped last Tuesday a car of sheep, and on last Thursday he shipped a car each of sheep and hogs, the threo cars rep resenting a sum of $2-100. Mr, Percival brings many a dollar into the community that would go in other directions were it not for bis constant hustling. He is known to be one of the best stock men in the state. Mr. Baetman, the father of the Misses Bateman, returned from many months sojourn in Nome, Alaska. He has done quite well during his stay with prospects of a very fine haul from some of his claims.
