The patrons have their mail boxes in readiness for the rural route from Parker, which goes into effect July 1st. Miss Dora Parks, of Peoria, 111., who has been visiting with her aunt, Mrs. P. T, Peterson, leit Fri day for Pendleton. Wild blackberries are beginning to ripen in this vicinity. The out look is decidedly poor, not more than half a yield being expected. Mrs. C. E. Levens and family, of Vancouver, Wash., returned home nfter a brief visit with Mrs. Levens' sister, Mrs. E. Davidson, of Parker.
