The building " season is on in
Dallas, sure. The carpenters are
all em ployed to the last man and
the town is noisy with the rattle of
hammers and saws. Many new
dwellings are now', even in March,
being constructed and reconstructed
The Gail Hotel is having a new
wing built three stories high.
The Dallas City Hank building
is now being lemodeled. The old
vault was removed and rebuilt, ten
feet further back, thereby giving
more room in the counting room
and lobby. The laying of tho tile
floor was commenced today and
soon the marble bases will b? set,
surmounted by old oak wainscot-
