Mr. Johnson's health had been failing for several weeks but no serious turn was expected. He leaves a wife and several children. For a number of years he was engaged in the livery stable business and was a Civil war veteran. Funeral services were held Wed nesday afternoon at the residence, Rev. E. J. Thompson officiating.
