Two years since a disease became
prevalent in Kings Valley and in
the logging camps, which the local
physicians pronounced smallpox,
and a number of employee in the
Spaulding logging camp have re
cently become afflicted .with a
malady showing very marked
symptoms of the same ailment.
While the disease is infectious in
character, it is in no sense malig
nant, and in most cases its course
is brief as it yields readily to treat
ment, and as it does not leave the
patient in an exhausted condition
there is but little cause for alarm.

One thing is certain,-
Ayer's Hair Vigor makes
the hair grow. This is
because it is a hair food.
It feeds the hair and the
hair grows, that's all there
is to it. It stops falling
of the hair, too, and al
ways restores color to
gray hair.
