All competent teachers under
stand that the ethical . culture of
their pupils is of greater import- '
ance than purely intellectual in
struction. It is practically tiseles
to cultivate the intellect and neg
lect the moral faculties. Such an
education warps the character of
an individual, and while it may
develop an intellectual giant it
also creates a moral pigmy. Thia
class of people do more harm than
good in the world. '
