Charles Harman is incapacitated,
having the big toe of his left foot
smashed Sunday, by a horse stepping
urxn it. Walter Baker of Parker
is working for Mr. Harman, doing
ranch work.
J. K. P. Harris is busily engaged
spraying his prune orchard. Not
withstanding that Mr. Harris is
still holding his last year's crop

optimistic over the prune situation,
and believ that by the time the
present year's crop is harvested, the
market will be on a stable basis.
Lew Stapleton is pushing work on
his ranch, operating a four-horse
team and a tractor in getting
ground ready for spring grain.
There, is some improvement in
the condition of John W.' Osborne.
He has been ill , for quite a long
time and the fact that he is
on the mend is pleasing to a large
circle of old friends.
William Snyder has taken a con
tract to cut 5000 cords of wood
for the Stumps and expects to
start work shortly.
Harrison Brandt is another High
land farmer who has been improv
ing these fine day's in getting his
spring work going.
