The delegation was the largest ever got together from any Willamette valley town, of business men. '. There were twenty three cars In the turnout and the party consisted of 107 people, all buB- holders of that city, and their wives and famil ies. ! "The McMlnnvllle delegation Is out Jn the interest of paved streets and good roads. Included in the delega tion are the county court of Yamhill county and the city council of Mc Mlnnvllle, besides all the county of ficials of Yamhill county. The delegation was scheduled to arrive In Independence at 10 o'clock yesterday morning and to take dinner at Corvallis at noon. They were to be In Eugene last night at five, to remain there over night. They leave Eugene this morning at 8 o'clock and will arrive at Albany at noon to day. DeGrace, the advance agent of the Frank Miller Amusement Co., was in town last week arranging to have his amusement company show here during the race meet.' Mr. DeGrace claims that Mr. Miller is giving more free acts than any other traveling amusement company of its kind in the country.
