The game of basket ball which was
played in the auditorium February C
resulted In favor of Independenee.The
score was 22 to 23. The game was
the best ever witnessed In Indepen
dence, but the attendance waa not
what It was expected that It would
be. Considering that basket ball has
got to be recognised as one of the
cleanest sports It is to be regretted
that people of Independence do not
give more hearty patronage. The
