Taboo the out sider and you will be a builder of Independence and not a destroyer. Ask for home products and be satis fied with no other. This is co-operation and is a sure means of building prosperity. It is not only right that this should be done but it is Justice. Kibby. recently here from the lake states, is now in charge of the gray matter department. Rev. Mr. Jones and O. D. Arnold, formerly wltr the Herald, expect to establish a weekly newspaper at Albany. The report cards were given out last week to the pupils of the Inde pendence public schools. It is Import ant that parents investigate these cards. The Eastern Star lodge of Indepen dence went to Dallas last night where they were banqueted by the Eastern (Star of that place. Thirty-two were received into the fellowship of Calvary Presbyterian church last Sunday morning, all but six being adults. A reception was held in the church for the new members on Wednesday night, which was large ly attended. Refreshments were served, and a select musical and lit erary program rendered.
