While no authentic Information other than Dr. Lyle's brief statement has come from the Arden house, the Impression prevails, owing to the fact that a trained nurse has been summoned, that Mr. Harrlman dangerously 111. The entire family Is at Arden house and Judge Robert S. Lovett, general counsel for the Union and Southern Pacific railroads was also summoned. Canada is extremely anxious to possess a war fleet of Its own and efforts are being put forth to Induce British ship builders tc locate plants on Canadian soil. It Is said three world-famous shipbuilders are now considering proposals to locate branch yards in the Dominion and have been assured that the Canadian government will grant every concession In the way of tariff or In any other line possible. STEEL STRIKERS SCORE McKee. Rocks Workmen Win Com plete Victory Over Company. Pittsburg, Sept. 7. Tha strike of the employes of the Pressed Steel Car Company's plant at McKees Rocks Is over. The 5000 workmen have won a complete victory. Be ginning Thursday they will return to work 1000 a day, according to a statement made tonight by C. A. A settlement was made with the county treasurer and current bills against the county were audited and ordered paid.
