A commit- jtee consisting v f Mr. and Mrs. O’ Rourke. Howard Morlan and Harold Haley selected the tree and got it to he road side. It was hauled to own b\ Messrs. Pollan, Jones and Haley. The tree is now in place at the intersection of Monmouth Avenue :ind Main street and electric lights •re to be placed in it before long. Miss Brenton of the Normal Art Department and the pupils of the seventh and eighth grades o f the 1 raining School have designed three posters which have been placed with the jars which receive donations of pennies to help defray expenses of the tree. At 7:30 Monday evening a pro gram of song aiound the tree is to be led by Miss Lorence of the Music Department of the Normal. It is expected that Santa Claus will be there.
