Hallowe’en tricks on the night
after, or on Tuesday evening No­
vember 1, which does not strike us
as a sportsman like performance.
Hallowe’en night, with marshals
and watchful property owners to
dodge, the boys get some sympathy
in their efforts to arouse the ghosts
of the occasion, but that sort of fun
on any other occasion is a different
sort of thing entirely.
