The annual Elkins Sunday School Picnic was held at the grove last Saturday. The fore-noon was spent in listening to a very interesting program. Among the numbers was an addres* by Mr. Brown o f Dallas. Mrs. Brown also gave several very interesting readings. A basket dinner was spread at noon which everyone helped enjoy. The a fter noon was turned over to sports such as races and so o n . The last was a ball game between a team from Monmouth and our school team. The game resulted in a score o f 4 to 16 in favor o f Monmouth. Last week Mrs. Ella Oleman closed a successful term o f school in the Highland district. This is Mrs. F A M E R S Saturday.
