Content in conscious rectitude
The massage systems to escape,

We ha e been repeatedly told that
the inhu'i nanities practiced by the
German sc 'ldiers were not so mnefc
their indivii lual fault as the fault

Both the anti-saloon league and
the liquor men are on the ground
and the politician who will be non
committal with them witl needs be
adroit and dexterous. As a straw,
we observe that Calvin Stewart who
has been defeated for Conrgrss
about as often aa anybody in the
United States, now sees a glimmer
of hope to spur his ambition for an
other trial in the first Wisconsin
district. We append the following
from a recent statement ' by him
which while not enaetly g .literary
gem will make up. in ginger what it
lacks in elegance of rhetoric. It is
indeed an alarming prospect which
his eyes are at present engaged in
beholding.
"However, the danger is not so
much in prohibiten; people can get
accustomed to that if they will.
The constitution has been assaulted
