the summer would be to invite vari
ous expressions of disbelief.
Methinksthe county court will
get the idea in good time that the
people of the county are in earnest
on the roads and highway matter,

eminent bonds.
"A commission shall be formed
to run the farms thus taken over
to be composed of fifteen members,
five of whom shall he farmers, five
shall be farm employes, and five
shall be appointed by the President

farmer commissioners shall be e'ect

oloves commissioners shall be elect
lbv the farm employes. They
shall hold office for two years, and
their salary shall be fixe! ty the
commission.
"The commission shall at once
proceed to employ the proper per
sons to operate the farms, as far
as nossible, employing the f resent
oDeratort and their wives and chil
dren when working to continue on
farms now occupied.
The commission shall fix the rate
of pay f or farmers and farm em
ployes, but the first year the fol
lowing rate shall govern:
Farmers operating 100 acres
and under shall lupoid ninety cents
per hour,
For far ns 100 ti 205 ars.
$1.25 per hour.
"For farms 200 acres and ,
$2.00 per hour.
"Farm employes 70 cent per hour.
"All farmers, farmers' wives,
children and employes to work on a
basic eight hour ('ay, with time and
a ha f for PW time, Sundays and
nolid.ys.
"There shall be half biiidaye wi
Sundays.
"The commission shall fix the
price at which produce is to be
sold, and prices are not to te re
duced until the business permits
