A lady friend of mine told another
lady friend of her's within my hear

bet that "Observer fool laid awake
nights thinking of some new stunts
on ' advertising and talked in his
sleep through the day: time." She
" allowed it was some scheme to
get the people's money for space
and the public and the advertiser
could get along if nobody ever adver

ribbon wound around a queue picked
from the cranium of a dead China
man and was unconsciously pulling
off some advertising "stunts" of her
own. One of her gentleman friends
told me the same night that she was
considered a "gold brick" among
the boys and' had proposed to seven
different fellows during the present
leap year. His goods were tinsel

generation.. The. more she advertis

could never become a Wannamaker or
even a Meir-Frank. Everything she
wore was on the surface. The poor
thing will probably end her career
on the Siwash reservation. She had
no business to advertise in the first
place. There are others some at

The first snow of the present sea

there wasn't much, but still it was
"snow" and it came at an appro
