At the recent midyear eighth grade public school examinations held In this city under the supervision of County Superintendent H. C. Sey mour, 65 applicants undertook to an swer the test questions prepared for them. According to the results of the grading of the papers which has Deen finished, 13 passed and are therefore entitled to participate in the graduation exercises to be held next June. Twenty-four of th num ber were "conditioned," or passed in all but two studies, which they will be allowed to try again this spring.
