He has a nice little farm and orchard near Shaw, Marlon County, and with his wife and son, Willis, Is leading the life of a happy, contented granger. Professor Reynolds had not been In Dallas for several months and was kept busy shaking hands with friends dur ing his few hours' visit this morning. A beautiful wedding was sol emnized yesterday afternoon' at the home- of Mr and Mrs. E. N. Hall, when their daughter, Edna, was given In marriage to Mr. Victor A. Ballan. tyne. . A few minutes before 12 o'clock Miss Alice Grant sang sweetly, "I Love You Truly." Then as the midday hour was chiming forth, the young couple took their place under an arch, to the strains of the Lohengrin march, played by Miss Vera Cosper. The Reverend D. M. Metzger read - the impressive marriage service. The house was beautifully decorated with ferns and chrysanthemums. The arch under which the ceremony took place was covered with ferns, while a touch of red at the rear made a pleas ing contrast. At the top of the arch, a lovers' knot was tied. iThe bride was daintily attired In a princess gown of white messallne silk and carried a beautiful shower bou fjuet of white carnations. After the ceremony, the gupsts spent an hour In the enjoyment of a boun tiful wedding feast. The happy pair left at 8:35 for Sodavllle, Oregon, where they will be at home to their many friends after December 15. The groom is a son of the Reverend and Mrs. M. J. Ballantyne, and, like his father, is a minister in the United Evangelical Church. He Is a graduate of Lafayette Seminary and at present is pastor of the church,-at Sodaville. His bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Hall and Is a charming young woman. She was educated at Dallas College and has many friends among the young people of Dallas.
