Where did you go so early this morning, Mrs. Wise?
I was down to HALL & HAYES to get one of those
Silk Floss Mattresses
they make. They are strictly all floss and each bed
guaranteed, and they have the most complete line of
Carpets, Rugs, Matting,. Lace Curtains, etc. in the
city. And say, those Couches they make are just
simply grand. And they said they would not be
beat on prices.

Electricity for Lighting
Is only expensive to people who are
wasteful and careless. To you, who
are naturally careful, it does not
come high.
It is economical because it can be quickly turned off wnen not needed.
With gas or kerosene there is the temptation to let lifrht burn when
not needed to save bother of lighting and adjusting. In some homes
the electric light bills amount to only one or two dollars per month,
xou can probably get some kind of artificial light for less money
than electric light, but does It save you anvthlng when it limits op
portunities for work and recreation ruins your eyesight smokes
your walls mars deoorationr and increases household work. You
oould probably save a dollar tomorrow by going without your meals
butitwouldnt be economy. It is not so much what you save, but
how you save that counts.
