Miss Bertha Collins and her nephew,
Carl Fenton, left for Walla Walla on
Tuesday to visit Mr. and Mrs. F. M.
Collins. Carl will return after the
holidays and Miss Collins will remain
until March 1.

A fire alarm from the home of
Charles Bilyeu early Wednesday
afternoon brought the department out
Iu short order, but luckily their
services were not needed. Mrs. Bilyeu
had gone to the home of a neighbor,

wallpaper burning furiously near the
stove. With rare presonce of mind
