Pugh has the town completely wired for the telephone system he is establishing. J. R. Moyer has improved his property near the schoolhouse by building a neat new fence. The family of Mr. Trask moved here from Corvaliis this week and will occupy the Peter Syron property. All hands of the Falls City Lumber Company have been given a raise of wages and are correspondingly happy. Jack Wagner has begun work on bis new hall. It will be 3G by 80 feet In size, and will be used for lectures, entertainments, etc. Such a hall has been needed by the town for a long time.
