The healthful action on the liver j curej biliousness. It has an in- vifforatincr eifect on the kidneys. Because the liver and kidneys do not work regularly, the poisonous acids along with the waste from the bowels get back into the blood and virulent contagion results. Tiraelv treatment with Thed- ford's lilack-lJraucrlit removes the dangers which lurk in constipation, liver and kidnev troubles, and will positively forestall the inroads of Bright.' disease, for which dis ease in advanced stages there is no cure. Ask your dealer for a 25c. package of Thedford's Black-Draught. Frequently come tales of violation of law bv the hobo element. As a rule the hobo is guilty of misdemeanors in connection with ckicken roosts or the like. The hobo is a predatory animal. But from time to time he becomes bolder or less regardful of con sequences and attempts or commits grave crimes. It is to be expected that this year will see an addition to the ranks of the disorderly, and peace officers should be constantly on the alert. Albany Herald. Cleared for Action. The quick relief which this liniment affords makes rest and sleep possible, and that alone it worth many times its cost. Ought, it would seem, to give exemption from the diseases which prey upon the residents of thickly populated cities. But there is no exemption from disease, and in the country, as in the city, one may sec the cheeks grow hollow and the eyes grow dull while the frame wastes away with that terrible disease, con sumption. Weak lnnyrs are made strong by the use of Dr. 1'ierce's Golden Medical Dis covery. It cures obstinate and stubborn coughs, bronchitis, bleeding of the lungs and other symptoms which, if neglected or unskiUiuHy treated, terminate fatally in consumption. The action of Golden Medical Discovery in the curing of wast ing diseases is entirely philosophic. Emaciation, and consequent loss of weight, are among the most striking symptoms of what are known as wast ing diseases. The betf y is not being ade quately nourished, and the cause of this lack of nourishment is not lack of food but lack of ability in the stomach and the other organs of digestion and nutri tion to prepare the food for the assimila tion and nutrition of the body. Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery cures diseases of the stomach and the organa of digestion and nutrition, and so en ables the body to be nourished back to strength iu the only way by which strength can come ; that is, by food per fectly digested and assimilated. Dr. Pierre's Golden Medical Discovery is a temperance medicine. It contains no alcohol, neither opium, cocaine or any other narcotic. Accept no substitute for " Discovery." There is nothing "just as good " for you, though many things may pay the dealer a larger profit. CAUGHT COLD.
