About Rheumatism. There are few diseases that inflict more disease than rheumatism and there is probably no disease for which such a varied and useless lot of remedies have been suggested. To eay that it can be cured is, therefore, a bold statement to make, but Chamberlain's Pain Balm which enjoys an extensive sale, has met with great success in the treatment of this disease. One application of Pain Balm will relieve the pain, and hundreds of sufferers have testified to permanent cures by its use. Why suffer when Fain Balm affords such quick relief and costs but a trifle? DRESSER, Register. 1 4 wlii r - i l.. -. 5 i Ufiifiii ti Ought, it would seem, to give exemption from the diseases which prey upon the residents of thickly populated cities. But there is no eximption from disease, and in the country, as in the city, one may see the cheeks grow hollow and the eyes grow dull while the frame wastes away with that terrible disease, con sumption. Weak lunjfs are made strong by the use of Dr. Tierce's Golden Medical Dis covery, It cures obstinate and stubborn coughs, bronchitis, bleeding of the lungs and other symptoms which, if neglected or uneleilliully treated, terminate fatally in consumption. The action of Golden Medical Discovery in the curing of wast ing diseases is entirely philosophic. Emaciation, and consequent loss of weight, ara among the most striking symptoms of what are known as wast ing diseases. The body is not being ade quately nourished, and the cause of this lack of nourishment is not lack of food but lack of ability in the stomach and the other organs of digestion and nutri tion to prepare the food for the assimila tion and nutrition of the body. Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery cures diseases of the stomach and the organs of digestion and nutrition, and so en ables the body to be nourished back to strength in the only way by which strength can come ; that is, by food per fectly digested and assimilated. Dr. Pier.-e's Golden Medical Discovery is a temperance medicine. It contains no alcohol, neither opium, cocaine or any other narcotic. Accept no substitute for Discovery." There is nothing "just as good" for you, though many things may pay the dealer a larger profit. CAUGHT COLD. "The first day of this year," writes Mrs. Kate Rehev. of 716 St. Paul Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. " I caught a heavy cold, which settled on my lungs and brought on a hemorrhage. From that time oti untii the lirst of April I bled from my lunsrs five ilnferent times. I was so weak and uudone I could only do the lightest work. The doctor tol-l me I was going iuto consumption- My breath was short and at limes I could hardly get my breath at all. This is the state I was in when I began to take Ioctor rierce'a Golden Medical Discovery. After the first bottle I was much better, arid I could walk two or three blocks without trouble. My breat h wai not so short and I was much improved. Alter taking four bottles I could work all day, and I never telt better in my life. I think your medi. cine the best in the world and I recommend it to all who are troubled as I was. WILL MAKE AFFIDAVIT.
