the corsage, the styles are legion.
V e r y often they are most effectively
m ade of fragm en ts put togeth er with
such picturesque effect that they ou t­
vie m any a richer style m ade of a
sin gle m aterial. W hen tw o or three
fabrics com bine to form a sin gle corsage
the lin in g o f the w aistcoat is cu t to be­
gin w ith. T h is buttons sn u gly up the
back, and ti|>on the fron t of this is
m ounted, for instance, a plain velvet
piece that points like a gird le in the
im m ediate front. A t each side of this
piece are set silk-lined revers, or lapels
o f m aterial of w hich the corsage is
composed. N ext to these come tw o
m ore revers of plain silk or velvet

inch and a half as they reach the
neck.
