CORRECTIONS
In the Aug. 24 Itemizer-Ob-
server, (Marijuana businesses
step up, Page 1A), Sol-Sisters
was incorrectly identified as
being part of a national non-
profit organization providing
holistic health services. In the
cutline on page 12A, it says
the field pictured is ready to
grow recreational marijuana.
An attorney on behalf of Sol-
Sisters said there is no inten-
tion of planting cannabis in
public view. We regret the
error.
Clarification:
In the sidebar, “What is
legal in Oregon?”, Aug. 24,
Page 12A, it says recreational
marijuana shops won’t begin
opening until later in the year.
Two medical marijuana dis-
pensaries currently sell recre-
ational marijuana, but permit
requirements will change later
this year.

Homebrew Competition by Sept. 16.
The event is one of the highlights of the Hop & Heritage Fes-

Homebrewers may enter beer in two categories: Hop Proud
and Session beers. Prizes will be awarded in both categories,
with a grand prize going to the brewer with the highest number
of points.
