Robert ‘Bob’ Lee
Beasley
Aug. 21, 1945 – March 30, 2016
Robert (Bob) Lee Beasley,
70, of Dallas, died on March 30.
He was born in Detroit,
Mich., and grew up in Shel-
byville, Tenn. He served in the
U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965.
He moved to Oregon and
decided to stay. To him, it
was the
closest he
could get
t o Te n -
nessee
without
the bugs and snakes.
Bob was a millworker at
Gardiner Inter national
Paper Mill until he retired in
1998. He was a mechanic at
heart and loved working on
older cars, trucks and mo-
torcycles. Bob was baptized
in 2009.
A son, Robert Jr., died be-
fore he did.
Bob is survived by his wife
of 36 years, Agnes; three
children, Rhonda Beasley,
Randy Beasley (Wendy), and
Bret Wilson (Marcie); 12
grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be
at the Dallas Seventh-day
Adventist Church in Dallas
at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The
family requests no flowers.
