go!
The fire truck siren, serving as a starting
gun, pierced the morning quiet and they
were off. The eighth annual Dragon Run
had begun with hundreds of runners
looking to conquer their course.
All the fun — and some pain and
sweat — was for a good cause as proceed
went to the Dallas Education Founda-
tion.
The course started at LaCreole Middle
School and finished at the football stadi-
um at Dallas High School. Each age
group had a different starting point and
ran a different distance from a quarter
mile to a 5K.
