at Falls City library

Wagner Community Li-
brary will hold a book sale
fundraiser Saturday from 9
a.m. to 1 p.m. in the back
room of the library, 111 N.
Main St., Falls City.
A variety of books will be
available, including nonfic-
tion sets, hard-to-locate col-
lector items, popular fiction
and plenty of bargains.
The library needs to con-
tinue fundraising to help pay
for library operations since
the money granted from the
Wagner Trust Fund will last
only a few years.

Gospel bluegrass
group to perform
The Bethel Mountain
Band will perform an hour of
family friendly, encouraging
music Sunday beginning at 6
p.m. at Evangelical Bible
Church, 1175 SE Howe St.,
Dallas.
The group will play their
gospel bluegrass harmonies
during the performance.
The event is free and open
to anyone.

Fundraiser to help

A fundraiser to benefit the
Dallas Library Teen Advisory
Board will take place Mon-
day at 4 p.m. at the library,
950 Main St., Dallas.
The “Tape Mark to the
Wall” event involves selling
lengths of duct tape to tape
Dallas Library Manager Mark
Greenhalgh-Johnson to a
wall. Cost is $2 for one length
of duct tape, three lengths for
$5, or 10 lengths for $10.
Proceeds will help pay for
movie licensing fees for li-
brary movie events.
