A Fine
Property
A fine body of good ore has been
struck on the champion claim at a
depth of 300 feet from the surface
in the face of the old drijt which is
now about 800 feet long. The find
was not unexpected in that it was
supposed from surface indications
to be a fairly good inniy ut
-
but the ore is eveil
richer
than expected and now demonstrates
the Champion mine is beyond doubt
one the beBt properties in Bohemia,
The remarkably good thing nbout
the new find is that the ore i3 still
free milling at that depth which
means a present as well as future
profit to the Champion people. It
is hoped very soon the Champion
mills will again be grinding away
as of old and her prospects were
never brighter for a prosperous
year than now.

Ten Stamps.
The Helena people have got their
new calm shaft in position aud have
been running the mills at their full
capacity for the past two weeks.
While tbe water has not boon any
too adequate to run their full ten
stamps yet it has been sufficient to
keep them going and the mill is
said to be doing good work.
