Some very fine samples of ore
from the Great Northern mining
claim in Bohemia was on exhibition
in town Wednesday. A small piece
of the ore, no larger than a walnut
was mortared and washed out and
many colors almost as large as a pin
head could be seen. This property
is located on Elephant mountain
nud belongs to Mr S F Brund. The
ledge is 4 feet wide and the pay
streak is 4 inches. The assay from
the pay strerk shows the value of
$2,500 per ton. Mr Bruud is very
enthusiastic over his prospect nnd
the future of Bohemia.

a depth of only 20 feet Mr W il

located on the Champion trail about
five miles above the Warehouse,
which are indeed very promising
property. The gold in the specimen
shown is visible to the naked eye
nnd is enough to encourage Mr
Willard to do some extensive devel
