U osedvkg , April 15— N. T. Brid
ges, an employe of the Booth-Kelly
Lumber Co., in Lstie county, who
came down to Roseburg a jew days
ago to visit with his family, appar
ently beennie dissatisfied at some
thing while playing cards at C. L.
Heed’ s saloon last night, and hold
ing Bud Thomas, the dealer, back
with one hand, raked in all the
oath in sight with the other. Then
despite Thomas’ struggles he forced
open the drawer in front of the
dealer, and took out a loaded re
volver, with which he kept every
body at bay until he had pocketed
every cent that lay before him.
When this was done he emptied
the revolver of its contents, threw
it on the table and walked out of
the saloon unmolested. It is estima
ted that Bridges secured about
$160. He has not since been seen.
