TWO BIG GAMES
ON FRIDAY NIGHT
Eugene Y . M. C. A . vs. High
School. — Junction Girls
vs. High School Girls.
Friday night the armory pavil
ion will be the scene of two hot
ly contested basket ball games.
The Junction city girls are after
the scalps of the local fair ones,
and the Eugene Y. M. C. A. is
anxious to add another victory to
those already won this season.
The Y. M. C. A. team is com
posed of university and high
school graduates and with daily
practice under a very able coach
have developed a system o f long
swift passes which the local lads
will have difficulty in breaking
up. They also play a clever
guarding game and are good
basket shooters.
This is the first outside game
for the girls, and they have
been practicing faithfully under
Paul Bond as coach and they
promise to show us some very
clever work.
