New Officers Were Elected. T h e an n u al m eeting of the Cal- lapooia Poultry Association, was held at the offices of C. I1'. W alker in Cot tage G rove T uesday evening, F. H. Rosen berg, president of the association presiding. T here w as a good a t tendance of local fan ciers including a few ladies of the com m unity who have been very successful in the breeding of prize w inning fowls and are enthusiastic mem bers of the association. t r e a s u r e r ’ s r e p o r t . W alker was presented and showed receipts from m em bership fees, dues an d the first annual poultry show, am ounting to $473.- 55; disbursem ents for exhibition coops and general expenses $403.- 41; b alan ce on h an d $70.14. H e seems to also have a w arm spot in his anatom y for Cottage G rove an d its genial fanciers and the Leader can truthfully say th a t th is feeling is reciprocated on the part of all of the poultrym en of this section of the country.
