legislation as is being objected to
by the lower river interests. A
short time ago, Secretary Strauss,
of the U. S. D epartm ent of Com
merce and Labor, set forth a list of
things necessary to save the indus
try. Initiative bill, No. 318 X
yes, was framed to carry out their
