Wolverton granted the injunc­ tion asked by the Oregon & Wash­ ington Lumbers Manufactura Asso­ ciation against the proeosed new advance iu lumber rates which the railroads had announced would take effect yesterday, Nov. 1. The as­ sociation was ordered to deposit a boud of $ 250,000 with which to pay any differences belweeu the exist­ ing rate and the proposed rate should the railroads eventually win. Bellingham, Wash., Oct. 31.— No moie lumber shipments will be received by the Northern Pacific railroad in the northwest until farther notice, according to an or­ der sent out to all agents of the company tonight. This move, it is expected, will be followed by all roads operating in the northwest affected by the federal injunction issued Wednesday night at Seattle.
