for the building and support of a public
library, and she bad conceived the Idea
of Issuing a volume to l>e called “Tbe
Authors' Recipe Hook.” Authors from

to send her a list of the favorite dishes

method of making them.
The cookbook was one of the many
forma of literature to which the re* :p-
