was drowned in Muck's slugh in
Portland while swimming with a
friend yesterday afternoon. He was
recently from Chicago.
Floyd Iluvird, aged 17, wis
drowned iu Guild's Lake at the

bom in Cottage Grove; that on
April 9, 1S4S there was born to Mr.
and Mrs. Ira Wells residing on a
donation claim they had located

Miss Wells became the wiie of W.
W. Ilawley iu January 1 S '1 7 , and
has lived in Wild wood for the last
thirty four years, and is the mother
of 15 childicu, of whom thirteen are
