SUNDAY SCHOOL CONVENTION Held in the City This Week. Synopsis of work Done by Those in Attendance. At the Methodist Church the Lane County Sunday School Asso ciation convened on Wednesday and Thursday. The president, Mrs. M. J. Mitchell nnd vico-president, Miss P. M. Logan loth of Kugcnc nnj Mr. W. M. Pitney of Junction, with a large representative gather iu of delegates were present at the opening session. Owing to illness, Mis. Mitchell was unable to be present after the opening session and Miss 1). M. Logan presided at the convention. Hillegas reported that they recommend the continuance of the present assessment of two cents and a half per capita on the average attendance of the Sunday Schools in the county, and that a collection be taken at the convention.
