The Hel ena company is a well known div (lend payer while the Muick hits producing rccoril of $200, oco and has always been considered one of the best pieces of piopcrty in the district. The new corporation is composed of capitalists ol ability and energy and coupled with their judgment iu investments, their taking bold of Dohemia property will prove of sub stautial benefit to the entire Oregon mining Interest as welt as Ilohemia property. 1 lie omcers ot tlic new company are: P.J. It Is doubtful it there is another corporation investing exclusively in Oregon Properties, with a com plement of officers of the prominence in financial circles, and no one transaction has ever lent such an impetus to business iu au Oregon mining camp ns lias this iu Bohemia. There seems to be considerable weight attached to the general be lief that this compnny will build the famous tunnel for Which the Calapooia company was organized; ud that this tunnel will be used by the Oregon & South-Eastern Rail road Co., is almost a foregone con clusion. Many new strikes have been re ported from the district this week and many new locations have leen made. One company has let tbe contract for hauling their ore from the mine to Uedrock, the present terminus of tbe O. &S. H. railroad. This company is now endeavoring to obtain one-hundred teams for ore hauling and expect to ship a large quantity to the smelter within the next few weeks. There has been a noted increase in demand for Bohemia mining stocks within the past few days and the different companies having offi ces in tie city report large sale3 of stock. These investments are evidently first class as every company yet organized has plenty of ore on the dump ready for shipment and with out nn exception, every company has found the price ot stock contin ually advancing since organization.
